Standard House Boats
It is the first version of House Boats or we can call it as simple House Boats. This house boat is made from original Small Raw Boats. So the size of the boat will be very less. Also there won’t be much more facitlities like TV, Music System etc..
Normally it is available in non A/C Category . Now a days the standard boats are outdated from the industry.
Delux Category House boats
It is the second version of the house boats , much more spacious, neat & added facilities than standard with TV, A/C ,Music system, Modern kitchen, spacious and neat toilets etc…Normally all Delux house boats are A/C only.But as per the demand from the clients and to make house boat more economy to all it may run as non A/C also. 80% of the house boats are coming under this category.
Major leading companies are operating “ Silver Star” category boats in Delux.
( Silver star is a classification given by the tourism department)
In Delux A/C category , there will be restriction in A/C operating timings. A/C will be operated from 9.00 PM to 6.00 AM only.
The reason behind this concept is during day time when the boat is cruising , it will be windy and the requirement of A/C is not necessary.
Boat will be anchored at 5.30 after the day cruise ,the weather is very pleasant and again A/C requirement is not necessary
But by 8.30 - 9.00 PM , lake’s temperature will be up and the wind stops.. so from this time till morning a/c’s requirement is necessary .
Premium / Luxury House Boats
Premium house boats are the latest version of House Boats. Giving maximum facility and neatness to the customer based on to the standards of a 4 star or 5 star hotel. Normally GOLD STAR categorized house boats are operating in this classification .
The facilities may change from one operator to another , but there are some common items as follows.
